This is a photo taken at Spectrum on Ferris wheel. I was there with my friend Everlyn and we just find the Ferris wheel by accident.

I'm in Irvine now, and faced with the fact that most of my classes require online classes, I still spend some time studying in the school library. When necessary, I will go to a friend's house to study with them to make myself more focused.

I think my current writing skills are good enough to handle most of the assignment requirements, but not quite professional enough. Academic writing often requires special expressions, which are very different from writing narrative essays. In high school, I was often asked to write summaries, so summarizing essays and distilling key points was not difficult for me.

My biggest weakness is in properly articulating the logic of my essays. When writing, I often face the problem of having many different ideas, but I have a hard time connecting them. These ideas can stand on their own and have a lot of uniqueness of their own, but the connection between them within a larger theme takes me a lot of time to think about.

I never done serious research before, but I have done some level of research when I was doing my internship on insurance. During my recruiting, I also spend time finding target companies and networking with people who worked in the company. For research relate to environment, I did some minor research project during my high school on sustainable energy. I studied tide energy, solar energy and wind energy.

From Time magazines, the most interesting parts are friendship and understanding ability. In articles describing animal friendship, the social behavior of many animals is explored in depth. The friendship behavior among animals can be described as pure, and they do not break their ties with each other because of some trivial things. In a friendship, animals often give and help each other. They can even feel sad for each other's death, proving that animals also have thoughts. Animals do not just act on instinct, their friendship behavior is also a way to demonstrate their sociability. In the article, the study proves that the more friends they make, the more offsprings they have.

Animals have an incredible understanding of language and things in human society. After some training, animals can also manage to communicate with humans in a simple way. In the Time Magazine article, chimpanzees were shown to be able to master hundreds of words. These words can even be spelled into simple sentences. Some dogs, such as German Shepherds, also possess superb intelligence. On many social networking sites, German Shepherd owners often train their dogs to push buttons, such as to go out and play or eat. These simple commands are not just learned by the animals, but more importantly they can be trained to understand the meaning of these words.
